Redemption song – ‘The Blood’ brings the message of hope and the wholeness of our being through what Christ Jesus did for us on the cross.
I was inspired to write this song after listening to a teaching on the enormous power that the blood has, especially for believers. There is extreme strength in knowing that all we have and would ever need has been paid for… in full!
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground Luke 22:44 KJV.
This introduces us to the suffering that Jesus was about to experience and tells us how he saw the process of cross with such load – this is the ultimate redemption song to hear. Yet He chose to go through it just so that God might have through Him, sons and daughters today.
